Foggo, Wilkes indicted
"The CIA's former No. 3 official and a defense contractor were charged Tuesday with fraud and other offenses in the corruption investigation that sent former Rep. Randy 'Duke' Cunningham to prison," Business Week reports.

Allison Hoffman writes, "The indictment named Kyle 'Dusty' Foggo, executive director of the CIA until he resigned in May, and his close friend, San Diego defense contractor Brent Wilkes, both 52, according to two government officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because grand jury proceedings are secret."

Wilkes was indicted on a separate charge for trying to bribe Cunningham, and another co-conspirator, John T. Michael, was also charged, the magazine reports.

"Dusty Foggo became first a cop, then a D.A.'s assistant -- and then was recruited into CIA, where he now holds the third-highest position. Some say that he was always more of a desk jockey than a James Bond, but he did do a stint in Honduras during the contra war. He handled their financing."

"Names and dates were given, and the amount of cocaine entering Las Vegas alone was placed at 340 pounds annually. Internal Revenue Service agents told of receiving word of a million in case being carried by courier from Las Vegas to Miami. They tailed the courier to WFC offices in Coral Gables. He entered the building with two suitcases; he came out empty-handed. In Brownsville, the shrimp fleet was reported to be bringing in narcotics in vessels owned by WFC."

6. And then there's the "Hooker Gate" involvement with that Limo Company
that Josh Marshall's Muckrakers were documenting. Hookers, and Jokers and Opportunists....Bushie CIA...and yet no one mentions Porter Goss and why he brought Foggo in. Was Porter involved with the Hookers? And, were the Hookers not just Females...but Males, also. Jimmy/Jeff Gannon? and all those times he visited the WH?

7. Link to the Hookers with some juicy info....

.and the next day, after a catered breakfast, a cocktail party, a lavish dinner...

On or about August 16, 2003, at approximately 11:00 p.m., arranged to have Prostitute "A" and Prostitute "C" available for himself and . Pursuant to Cunningham's request, Wilkes arranged for the Congressman to get a different prostitute for the second evening;

On or about August 16, 2003, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Prostitutes "A" and "C" and their "driver" arrived at the Hapuna Suite. Persuant to instructions, his employee paid the driver $600 in cash and escorted Prostitute "C" (who had not previously been to the suite) to room. At apprroximately midnight, Wilkes again tipped Prostitute "A" $500 for the services;

Although Shirlington Limousine does make an appearance in the indictment, it's not connected to prostitution -- rather, it's just mentioned that Wilkes paid Shirlington to ferry Cunningham around Washington, DC.

8. I have long believed that blackmail....
Edited on Tue Feb-13-07 11:54 PM by wildbilln864
is a tool being used in Washington to keep officials inline. There were some articles written on Cannonfire about a company related to Wilkes, I think, that both provided small loans to the public and rental office furniture. I'll have to try to relocate the articles.

Here's one.
That's one of the reasons I believe it has been so easy to cover up the truth about 911!

9. more...
an interesting snip/

"In the past, I've drawn attention to the fact that Mitchell Wade's MZM supplied "furniture" to the White House, and I've theorized that said furnishings came equipped with bugging equipment. Nobody has offered a better suggestion as to why a defense and intelligence contractor would get a gig like that."

10. Very interesting article...thanks for link....
Have to hope they supplied more furniture and hookers to the Repugs than the Dems...so Dems can investigate but if there are Dems who were involved then the truth needs to come out, anyway.

Bugs in the office equipment...would make sense. Remember how they kept clearing out the Congressional offices with Anthrax and suspicious package alerts in the last few years. Alway before an election.
