To John Boehner: sending more troops needlessly into a lost cause IS abandonment!
Edited on Tue Feb-13-07 06:09 PM by RiverStone
House Minority Leader John Boehner's words per cnn:

"This nonbinding resolution is the first step toward abandoning Iraq by cutting off funding for our troops that are in harm's way," said the Ohio Republican. "And we know what al Qaeda thinks when America retreats from the battlefield. They think that we can't stomach a fight."

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/02/13/us.iraq/index.html

How dare John Boehner refer to not escalating as either a "retreat from the battlefield" or that anyone would think American soldiers "can't stomach a fight." There is no singular line in the battlefield sand to retreat from Mr. Boehner! What we have is a quagmire of Shrub's own arrogant making which has no end, no plan, no history of success, and no one in the White House listening to the will of We The People to end this damn war.

His language reminds me of a schoolyard bully afraid to ever back down, even if he knows he is wrong.

The majority of America is not going to buy this empty false bravado rhetoric anymore. It is you Mr. Boehner, who along with Shrub's minions aim to send more soldiers into a civil war, a civil war which has descended into chaos...it is you who will be abandoning those troops! How dare you send these brave men and women into a cause neither just or winnable?

There is NO military solution in Iraq!

1. How dare you send this brave men and women into a cause THAT NEVER WAS just or winnable?
How dare you equate kowtowing to the grinning chimp with supporting our troops?
How dare you say this while you cut the troops funding?
AAAHHHHH the hypocrisy.

3. Are republics out and out stupid
The resolution says they are not cutting off funding for the troops that they support the troops there but they don't want more sent.(Not in the exact words I posted but that is what they said)

How in the hell does he get not funding troops out of that statement? I suppose they are so used to spewing poopoganda they don't know even know what they are talking about themselves at times.

5. The only winning Publican frame is to paint defying the grinning chimp
as some how hurting the Troops.
As if kicking the evil bastard out would do anything but good for the troops.

That is all they have.
