Cops Writing Cops. Is this for real?
http://copswritingcops.com/home.html

This site believes that police should not give traffic tickets to other police whenever they break traffic laws. If this is for real, then I fully understand why others would not respect the law.

1. "professional courtesy"? what a joke.
if you're so concerned about the profession, quit breaking the laws you're there to enforce, jackass.

2. Many cops think that a badge puts them above the law.
This is just a concrete example of this.

It seems that most of them truly believe that "it's us versus them." And the law only applies to one side of that equation.

3. What a bunch of whining ass-hats
"As I am driving, I'm really not paying attention to where I am at or how fast I was going. I was pretty much keeping up with the cars in front of me and next to. Most of the time I had my cruise set at 77-79 in a 65." Then this winner goes on to bitch about getting a ticket, and not being given a break.

4. why stop at tickets?
I think if an off-duty cop from another jurisdiction rapes a teenage girl, the local cops should show some "professional courtesy" and let him go.

Oh, I get it, traffic laws aren't "real" laws: no one's ever died due to another driver's negligence. Wait....
