Hillary and Michigan
I give Hillary a lot of credit for standing up to the party and remaining in the Michigan primary. Good for her. It was the smart thing to do and the right thing to do.

The rank-and-file voters in Michigan had nothing to do with changing the primary date. For the other leading candidates to punish their own supporters by pulling out of the Michigan primary was, in a word, stupid.

3. That's a big lie that the DLC and Rahm had anything to do with the Florida Primary date.
In fact one DLC member is taking the DNC to court.

From another perspective:

Earlier in the day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a round-table discussion with reporters in Washington that the Democratic National Committee can try to enforce its rules, but the party's authority essentially ends when the convention begins.

"The reality is if you want to know if Florida is going to be seated, ask the Democratic nominee as soon as one emerges," Pelosi said.

Dean agreed.

"At the end of the day, the nominee will make a decision, essentially about who gets seated," Dean agreed.

2. I'm not a Hillary supporter but I think she did the right thing too. It's
time to change the primary voting season...that's all that these states that are moving their primaries are saying. I don't know about you but I'm tired of Iowa and New Hampshire and then South Carolina deciding who the presidential candidates are.
