I chose to suffer through Sean Hannity's "exclusive" interview with Fred Thompson last night

The anticipated suffering soon turned to mild amusement however, as I realized that some crafty campaign strategist made the foolish decision to incorporate a family gathering into the interview.

There sat a grim faced Thompson, seated next to his wife Jeri, with a 4 year old girl perched upon his lap.
Did someone think he would appear youthful? ...It didn't work.
He looked for all the world like a grumpy old grandpa as the child fussed, squirmed, and chewed on something that looked like a Tupperware bowl.

She squealed gibberish near Fred's lapel mike throughout the first segment as Thompson spoke in non-specific terms about "the world his children would live in". and how he wanted to change it. (be afraid kid)

Upon return from the first commercial, the kids mysteriously disappeared and the focus went to Jeri as she explained her White House role as a cookie-baking-stay-at-home-and-do-as-she's-told mom who's pet project would be women's rights. (Isn't there a conflict there?)

The punch line of her interview came as she expressed her frustration with explaining to her 4 year old why women in Iran were treated differently than women in the Western world. I guess the child's interest swings between teething on Tupperware to stonings, Burkas, and social inequity.

Light the fuse on this firecracker and watch it fizzle!

OMG -- he literally seems retarded, although I thought the same thing about GWB. I was glad they nommed him thinking surely, someone who sounded so stupid all the time would never get elected. at my sons frat house honestly, I cannot stomach him at all, so thank you for keeping up with what those goons are still spouting..

I still will never forget seeing him being questiioned in I believe it was 04 on air by that loud radio guy who is on faux as well about why they themselves were being investigated and that in their offices nothing was off limits to the prying eyes of the bosses, he forced Hannity to agree that that was happening but nada after than, it was like that particular segment went into a black void of nothingness meaning it was never heard from again..

But it was obvious to me than as it is to me now that bottom line is that these people love their paychecks and privacy much more than they do the need for the citizens of this country to be given the truth.

If enough of them would stand up and show proof of who is behind the obvious attempts to silence freedom then perhaps it could be stopped
