I have had about all I can stomach of conservative commentators accusing others of not being patriotic enough or "hating america." The truth is that it is people like Rush Limbaugh and his supporters who hate America and Rush proved it with his remarks about a wounded American soldier. Tom, Rush doesn't believe what he is saying, we both know that. Intelligent people know that Rush is wrong and Rush is a lot of things but unintelligent is not one of them. He doesn't believe what he says but he knows there are a lot of gullible people out there who do. He is simply playing a role to those people who don't understand the consequences of what Rush is advocating. It has made him rich and that is all he cares about. But Tom, I have a list of Rush's advertisers and I make a point of not doing business with any of them. I will be contacting the local offices of these sponsers to tell them that I won't be doing business with them until they pull their advertising from your station. Granted my business by itself will not scare any of them off but I am not alone, Tom. Tom, Just do yourself and Nashville a favor, pull Rush from the airwaves. It is not the discerning thinkers that listen to him anyway and those are not the people your advertisers want to reach. Replace Rush with a more thoughtful show and you will be able to charge more for your advertising minutes because you will have a higher quality of people to advertise to.
