Any attention given Rather's explosive charges about newsmedia protecting Bush?
Nothing from what I have seen on any of the Sunday morning shows.

Nothing on Cspan.

Not even Reliable Sources so far, where you would EXPECT this story to be a key focus.

11. They didn't buy up control of most broadcast media in the 80s and 90s for nothin'
And they've been manipulating the print media and bending it to their agenda the same way.

5. Of c ourse - but all we can do is keep shining OUR flashlights on them until
ANYTHING BIGGER comes along.

And THAT is the purpose of this thread. So they know that not all of us are swayed by their inattention.

10. Heh - naked as I never saw them wearing the cloak of American patriotism or
the mantle of humanity.

I only saw raw, naked fascism.

6. I would have thought this would be something 'our' candidates would
have mentioned. I mean, it was only one of the biggest stories in the country and it was buried by those who had an obligation to cover it. Instead of lying for bush** like they did during the 2000 campaign, they had an opportunity to right the public record.

Our candidates need to start speaking up about the crimes of this administration.

to touch it at ALL?

Amazing, eh? But then, if they acknowledge the truth the Dem powermongers couldn't put all the blame on Gore and Kerry as they have been doing and getting away with it. THEIR stewardship of the party would finally get the focus it deserved for its many failures.

They KNOW the election fraud was rampant and the media an ENORMOUS problem for Democrats, but fixing THOSE problems as a party effort would have meant a Dem would be in the White House - a Dem named Gore or Kerry. Hillary2008 did NOT want that to happen.

Gee - coming to the conclusion you really LOVE and PROTECT the system that's been set up these last two decades.

14. You asked if the media were covering it,
not if several shows in particular had dedicated a certain day's programming to it.
