We know why Thomas has been anti-liberal in decisions
Edited on Sat Sep-29-07 11:58 AM by appalachianguy
It seems that Clarence Thomas has shown his hand in the
Supreme Court poker game.
It has never been any secret that Thomas has been anti-liberal
in his right leaning decisions while enjoying making selfish
decisions during his Supreme Court tenure.
We also have "him" to blame for the Bush appointment
in 2000 and
look what kind of a national embarrassment that has turned
out to be. We cannot afford any more bias in the court which
makes
getting a Dem in the White House in 2008 even more important!

1. I heard a story a couple of weeks ago on NPR that Scalia
was giving a speech somewhere and during the Q&A afterward, somebody asked him about Thomas and comparing them as conservatives. Scalia answered, basically, "Well, I have conservative values, but I'm not a nut." Jeffrey Toobin was telling the story and he said that Scalia literally called Thomas a nut.

8. That doesn't surprise me
Scalia is bang on with that statement, although I'm pretty sure that he is overstating his own sanity. He's nowhere near as nuts as Thomas, but he's closer than I'd like him to be.

3. The Supreme Court is now a Supreme Joke
Activist right wing judges are politicizing the courts.

7. I will never think of thomas as anything but
and I will always, always remember his photo copied penis.
Shows what kind of people the republican support..SEX FIRST. And they complain about a president who had sex - with the consent of the other party - in the privacy of his office.

5. ..but..but..but we knew that in 2000 and 2004!!! Where did it get us???!!!!
That is part of what was so appalling in hearing people say that there was no difference between the Dems and the Repukes!!!
We know now that Thomas was just a setup for the future..and that is what has been happening all along. No doubt he just does as he is told.

The Supreme Court had been the last resort for those seeking justice in this country. The Repukes have done their best to make sure it is totally impotent and/or totally biased toward authoritarianism.

oh..and I want to thank Justice O'Connor for her regrets at the way the government SHE PUT INTO POWER has turned out.
:puke:

MUCH TOO LITTLE WAY TOO LATE MADAM!!!

11. Wish Thurgood Marshall was back
It would be great to have Thurgood Marshall back in this
world and back on the bench. Our loss has been GOP's gain.
