I get a chuckle, pretty routinely, at the dueling threads that pop up on DU. Equal but opposite vitriol. Counterbalanced outrage. Its pretty remarkable and pretty predictable.

Amadinijammies is a denier here and a hero there.

Hugo is a even worse than Amadinnie except when he's saving the people of his country from all manner of ills and is a Bolivarian hero who is a dictator or not

Senator Byrd is a treasured relic who needs to stay in the Senate and retire cuz he's a Klansman.

Hillary Clinton is the devil in the red dress and if you don't love her like some do then you're scum and if you support her you're scum.

Obama is the slacker he seems to be to some and the most inspiring candidate since JFK.
