Democrats "Punked" again

Gates wants another $50 Billion for armor for the troops. Now if the Democrats oppose it they are failing to protect the troops.

Then maybe a few more lives and limbs would be saved since I doubt we are getting out before 2009.

I say this as someone with a loved one over there, someone I want to come home in one piece.

I mean, has 50 billion ever gone for armor for the troops in one fiscal year in the history of the country? I have to strongly doubt that. Interested in more info. Thanks.

4. That's the way I have heard the MSM report it

this afternoon. I believe he asked for the usual $150 bil and an additional $42 bil for armored vehicles and other equipment to support the troops, in other words we want another $42 bil and if you don't give it to us you are denying equipment our troops need to fight the enemy. You know the old if we don't fight them over there they wiil come and get us bs. I saw Dianne Feinstein ask Gates a question on C-span, she spent 6 or 7 minutes praising him for his service to the country yada yada yada then asked him a softball question. I got disgusted and shut the TV off.
