Here is the last known language from the Kyl-Lieberman amendment:
Edited on Wed Sep-26-07 12:38 PM by Junkdrawer
That just passed 76/22:

SEE UPDATE BELOW:

(3) that it should be the policy of the United States to combat, contain, and roll back the violent activities and destabilizing influence inside Iraq of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its foreign facilitators such as Lebanese Hezbollah, and its indigenous Iraqi proxies;

(4) to support the prudent and calibrated use of all instruments of United States national power in Iraq, including diplomatic, economic, intelligence, and military instruments, in support of the policy described in paragraph (3) with respect to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies.

Basically, the Senate just directed Bush to "use of all instruments of United States national power" to stop Iran's meddling in Iraq and Lebanon.

Hmmm, wonder how Bush will do that? :think:

UPDATE: THESE PARAGRAPHS WERE STRUCK.

1. I am absolutely sickened by this.
I emailed my Senators yesterday and sent letter to editor which got published today expressing my objection to this amendment. We try, but they do not listen.

6. No sweat.
There's about twenty different links flying around. I think I read in one of them that we renamed Iran "Joementumville."

Kyl. Mother fucker.

I am a loyal New Englander...but damn, sometimes I just want to punch all of Connecticut in the head.
