You're not going to believe this, but there was no gunplay, no drugs, and an impromptu rap concert did NOT break out! Someone call Bill Orally.

or was it some "war-chester-shire" abomination. I'd expect that from the blacks.

22. Maybe.
I'm not really that hip into urban slang these days, ... homey. I mean, really, "Worcestershire sauce" could be just about anything, you know?

Now, had they politely asked for another "serviette", I'd be deeply, DEEPLY concerned!

10. You are letting him off easy with that food.
Hit his ass with a big bowl of homemade mac and cheese. Made by a black grandmother. It would likely leave him paralyzed and braindead.

The guy was a newsman once. Did he never interact with the black community back then?

Hey I could have put alot more tasty grub in there but the goal isn't to make him sick but to give him a proper taste of 'the itis'.

Newsman? Dude, he was the host of Inside Edition or something like that. That was hardly "news".

be doing. It's called sarcasm. If you think I'm a freeper go look at my previous posts and I'll give you my real name so you can see the progressive work I do in my local community.

Shit, I've never been so insulted.

On Edit: Do you honestly believe a republican would write those things about members of their own party? I'm still in shock to have been accused of being the thing that I most loathe in the world. I guess misunderstandings like this are why the world's in such a mess. This ruins my whole day...

29. This thread strikes me as oddly inappropriate.
First of all, I UNDERSTAND IT IS AN EXERCISE IN DAMNATION THROUGH SARCASM. But still...it seems to actually be offering a forum for posters to vent some racial epithets under the guise of "defense of the victims." I'm not telling anyone what to post, I'm just making the observation...it seems a bit hypocritical to use the same defense Billo is -- that he was just drawing upon those stereotypes to make his point -- while we don't actually know that maybe Billo was actually doing the same thing.

I'm not sure he was just using sarcasm to make his point. But stepping back, despite his poor delivery, I can see where it certainly could have been the case. O'Reilly is know for his stupid, sarcastic commentary.

Just sayin.' Using the same racial slurs (and worse) to condemn Billo just doesn't sit well with me. After all, you're still using the racial slurs.

44. Oh'Really? went to a Soul food restaurant in New York...
Edited on Wed Sep-26-07 04:18 PM by NorthernSpy
From the Village Voice:

So Bill O'Reilly went to lunch with Al Sharpton at Sylvia's Restaurant in Harlem and was surprised to find that the famed soul food eatery was just like any other restaurant in the city, this despite the fact that it's run and patronized by black folks, Media Matters reported on its web site today.

I "couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship. It was the same," O'Reilly said on September 19 edition of his nationally syndicated radio program.

Later during his conversation with NPR correspondent and Fox News contributor Juan Williams, O'Reilly noted "There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M-Fer, I want more iced tea.' You know, I mean, everybody was—it was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun. And there wasn't any kind of craziness at all."
