Morning Joe and Co. are calmly shredding O'Reilly
they are not being over the top about his comments - just pointing out the inherent racism in Billo's comments - OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.

Nice.

even a rethug like Scarborough can do something useful.

2. Yesterday, too. Seems that NBC brass are...
out to get Fox, and everyone's got the message.

Me, I'm still trying to get over a major media type saying something that would get your ass kicked back in the 60s. This is the 21st century, is it not?

5. CNN's On This...And More Important...
Black radio has been all over BillO...that's whose been pushing this story all week. CNN put their best moron, Rick Sanchez on this...picking a fight with O'Reilly and Faux (sure doesn't hurt that Taser Rick is "hosting" a show opposite O'Reilly and KO this week).

Dare I say, we might be starting to see the ultimate nightmare for Faux...irrelevancy. With boooshie's failed regime and popularity, Faux is now taking a hit for hit. IMHO, it's one of the big reasons the Repugnicans are scared shit of MoveOn and the blogosphere...they see us grabbing their mojo.

4. I like it when conservatives go after each other. O'Lielly will have a hard time
dismissing Scarborough as a liberal nut job.

8. In a nutshell...
Sylvia's is a famous restaurant in Harlem, with Sylvia's products in stores, a la Emeril.

BillO went to Sylvia's with Al Sharpton, for some reason.

BillO was under the impression that the activity when they arrived was for him, not Sharpton.

BillO then went on to say on his show that he was impressed that Sylvia's restaurant was run as well as white-owned restaurants, and the customers weren't animals.

10. Not Racist, But Extremely Stupid
I do not think his comments were racist. I think they were extremely stupid and maybe even bigoted. I do not see how someone can think a black run business would be any different than a white run business. The comments were at the least small minded. I have never walked into any business and expected it be a certain way based on the race of the people running the place. I do not think I have ever thought about the race of the people running the place. So, Bill Reilly is an idiot
