(CNN) — Outspoken real estate mogul Donald Trump set his sights on long-time journalist Dan Rather in the second part of his interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday.

“Dan Rather’s a loser. Dan Rather had low ratings for years,” said Trump when asked for his opinion on the former network anchorman’s $70 million lawsuit against CBS. “I used to say, whoever represents Rather does a great job, because he always was in third place, he always had terrible ratings, and they wouldn’t fire him.”

Rather declined to comment on Trump's remarks when contacted by CNN.

1. Classiest guy I've ever seen
who wears a racoon on his head.

Actually, I take that back, I remember Mickey Racoonington who used to waer a racoon on his head. He had a lot more class.

2. Can't this guy ever stand to be out of the spotlight for 5 minutes?
He's like the annoying little kid shouting "Look at me! Look at me!" while he interrupts the serious people who are trying to have a conversation.

5. Trump makes more money off of hocking his bullshit than...
he does anything else. How much debt does he have on his real estate holdings? How much did that mop on his head cost?

6. Trump can say brilliant, insightful things (* needs to hide) and then
totally blow any credibility he might have accrued. For a 'smart' man, he's dumb.

9. Well, I had green beans for lunch the other day.
Put me on CNN. It's just as newsworthy.

Justice? Pulling up to a stoplight, seeing a bald man in tatters take out a greasy rag to try and clean your windshield, and hey, that looks like that Trump guy. Wondered what happened to him after the lawsuits and real estate debacles.

12. Who Cares
I am tired of hearing Donald Trump comment on all the topics that are going on currently. Yes, I believe in freedom of speech and that Trump has a right to provide his opinion, but I wonder why so many media outlets are going to Donald Trump to ask his opinion about the topics of the day. I contend Trump should pay more attention to his companies that do not always seem to perform well. His companies are the main reason I do not think the media should be asking him about the topics of the day. If his companies did not seem to go bankrupt all the time I would think it is okay to ask him about the things that are happening; however, he does not seem to be that good of a business man. I just feel the media forces him on the country. I feel like the media has made him into this great business man when he is not really that good of a business man. Therefore, I do not see why he should be on tv that much. However, I guess his opinion is just as valid as anyone else.

However, I contend Trump is incorrect on this issue. Yes, Dan Rather has low rating in comparison to the three nightly news show, but in comparison to some other news show his rating were pretty good. During the time Rather hosted CBS Nightly News the show had about 4 million viewers. I do not know the number of viewers for ABC World News Tonight. NBC Nightly News has 10 million viewers. So, Rather's news show has 6 million less viewers than NBC Nightly News, but Rather still has twice the number of viewers (2 million more)than Bill O' Reilly's show on on the much vaunted Fox News. So, in my opinion Rather's rating may not have been as bad as some would say. In addition, I think pay come from the amount a person brings in from advertisers.

elite and they easily put a buzz in Trump's ear so the flamboyant and mouthy Trump can get those headlines.
