I read on a babylonsister thread the other day that Podhoretz, who has been given special access to *, said:

‘Podhoretz has argued that “if we were to bomb the Iranians as I hope and pray we will…we’ll unleash a wave of anti-Americanism all over the world that will make the anti-Americanism we’ve experienced so far look like a lovefest.” By enlisting Podhoretz’s advice, President Bush is demonstrating that there isn’t any idea too radical for him to consider.’

Today, Lieberman and Kyl put forth an initiative to bomb Iran. The mind boggles at the blood lust of these people. Why would we want to unleash another, fiercer wave of anti-Americanism, why would anyone want that? Yet they do, along with eternal war.

I can’t decide if these people are one step beyond crazy or if they are another version of the rapturists.

so spread the blame around.
and lets resolve to hold every senator accountable who supports such idiocy.

there will be "I am really sorry I supported this" 5 years from now.
they should all be hounded out of politics. bagging our groceries or asking if we want french fries with our order.
