Hillary Clinton On Meet The Press
This should be interesting...

As someone who wants to beat the GOOPERS I just want her to do well if she's our eventual candidate....

4. Not Fundamentally Different Than Edwards Or Obamas' Plan
Tell me about it... I'm paying $8,000.00 a year for health care for one person...

5. Russert is such a complete ass-He asks if children without healthcare is HER fault
because of what happened in '93 and '94. She answered by talking about what HAS been achieved.

I haven't watched these gabfests for a long time and it took about 2 minutes to remember why.

7. Hillary voted against the GOP MoveOn.org resolution
And she refuses to single out MoveOn.org for condemnation. She has real guts.

8. She sure didn't defend them this morning. What the hell ever happened to
"I disagree with what they say but I'll defend their right to say it"?

14. That's a strawman
Nobody said MoveOn.org didn't have the right to run an ad.

18. Not in so many words but a bunch of supposed Democrats have said they should NOT
exercise their First Amendment rights. I don't see any way you can deny that simple fact.

17. She Voted Against Censuring MoveOn.Org
Your ire should be directed at the two presidential candidates who didn't even bother to vote...

11. oh yeah, "real guts"--voting not to condemn the citizens is not that courageous
--I have found her notable for not really taking a stand on anything until she saw which way the wind was blowing. Her LACK of guts is what turns me off about the woman. She is a middle of the road corporate lackey. Her stand on Iraq is cowardly and complicit.

10. ugh! c'mon, Hillary, tell the nation how, under you, the insurance CEOs
will grow even fatter & richer while We The People are forced to buy expensive insurance and then still pray that we don't get ill b/c whatever we get, it most likely will not be covered. Also tell the nation how, under you, the illegal atrocity in Iraq will drag on for another decade or so. And how the globalist corporations, your paymasters, will plunder the planet unchecked, privatizing water, seeds, communicatons, and the very air we breathe while the environment goes all to hell!

12. The Grand Inquisitor will probably chastise her for voting against Move On Censure
after he drags her through his list of tough gottcha questions. What a POS Russert is.

16. Learned two important things from MTP today
Edited on Sun Sep-23-07 10:30 AM by abq e streeter
1. Today's Sunday---when I woke up I thought it was Monday ( not kidding) 2. Russert is an idiot; turned it off after 30 seconds. 3. Or was it Chris Matthews; (told you I was kind of out of it this morning)...still turned it off --- I can't stand any of these pompous jerks
