Give it up for None of the Above!
The coolest guy in the Republican Party recently won a poll that set out to see which candidate Republicans in Michigan would support.

"The Republican presidential hopefuls are in Michigan this weekend to speak at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference. But no matter how much flip-flopping and pandering they do there, the fact remains: Michigan voters, like the majority of Americans, want change and the only Republican candidate who represents the values and priorities of the American people is None of the Above.

"Americans are hungry for change and want a president with a clear vision for the future," said Democratic National Committee Press Secretary Stacie Paxton. "With the Republican presidential hopefuls offering no new ideas, just standing squarely behind President Bush and his failed policies on everything from Iraq to health care, it's no wonder that voters are choosing None of the Above."

The DNC's web site, http://www.imwithnoneoftheabove.com/, highlights why Republican voters and voters across America are rejecting the GOP candidates. After a long summer of campaigning, the Los Angeles Times reported that "the dearth of big new ideas in the 2008 campaign has prompted a lack of enthusiasm for the contenders." From supporting Bush's stay-the-course policy on Iraq to backing his opposition to health care for low-income children, the GOP candidates are "enthusiastically embracing Bush's major policies and principles."

Seventy one percent of Michigan voters disapprove of President Bush's handling of the Iraq war and a majority support immediate withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Iraq yet the Republican GOP candidates stand behind President Bush's failed stay-the-course strategy, offering no new plans of their own on Iraq or any other issue. It's no wonder that in a recent Associated Press-Ipsos poll, "None of the Above" statistically tied with Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson for first place in the race, showing that "no contender has yet to convincingly make the case that he is the candidate for change that so many voters want as the party searches for its identity and a successor to Bush." 2. It seems like bashing the Democratic Party has become more popular than bashing the Republican Party
On this forum right now.
