He apparently captured cats and kittens, injured them, and fed them to his dogs.

They've got this guy on cruelty charges - but not for dog fighting so far.

This kind of behavior is so disturbing to me. How can anyone possibly think this is OK? He had a picture on his cell phone with a dog standing over a mauled, dead kitten with the caption "Good Dog."

I think I did read where Congress is actually going to take a look at dog fighting in this country. Something really needs to be done - a lot of public outcry always helps. Points these behaviors out as perverted and awful instead of some kind of tough guy thing. Put very high penalties on these kinds of behaviors.

Civilized people simply do not do this kind of thing. But it is so far underground that it will be tricky to get to. These dog fights are very clandestine - you have to know someone to get in. Makes it very difficult for law enforcement to do much.

But I've heard about this kind of stuff a lot. The gangs in the Kansas City area are really into dog fighting. And I've heard that they use stlen cats and other dogs to get their dogs really ramped up.

As far as I'm concerned identifying and shutting down this behavior needs to be a top priority for law enforcement.

It's cruel, it leads to other extremely perverted and sick behavior. And the gambling involved is huge. They raided on dogfighting ring here in our area and found $50,000 on the table.

3. By making these initial charges felonies

it would give law enforcement the teeth to make these scum roll over on their buddies. The statement tell us what we want to know and wear a wire of do 20 years would probably go along way.

No reason to read the article. I truly hate people who injure kids and animals for pure cruelty.

5. Stings on these operations are so expensive that it is important that

the charges are felonies. It doesn't do any good to spend thousands of dollars catching these guys if they get a small fine and probation.

Congress needs to make this stuff serious crimes.

This man is not a human being. Humans have respect for animals.

I hope the man gets what he deserves. And I pray that all those poor cats he tortured are now healthy and happy at Rainbow Bridge, waiting for the person they were supposed to hook up with on Earth to come for them.

Tonight, I'm going to make sure my two Cats get extra love and attention, for all those who never knew what love was while on Earth.
