Where is Jena?

Please forgive my confusion.. is it the same place, just outside New Orleans, where police force was stationed on the bridge to prevent people from New Orleans from crossing over to a dry place during Katrina?

Or am I mixing two different places?

i never heard of jena before all this hoo ha but the google sez it's north of alexandria, which is a much more conservative part of the state than the greater new orleans area
