Democratic Debate on PBS taking place in Iowa on now.

1. It is apparently being shown at different times all
over the country.

This was the best debate to date. Judy let them have at it without constantly talking about time constraints. They were funny, fair, supportive and mostly informative. A major portion of the evening was spent on health care, insurance, and tax policy and how it affects regular citizens and why the Dems need to be in charge of public policy. The debate should be shown to every 10th - 12th grader in the country as it is a place to start with helping them understand why their vote matters.

After it was over I felt that every single one of the five people on the stage had so much to offer that I want them all to be involved in the next administration.

We are Democrats !

3. They also know each well -
they know each other's passions, votes, and prior legislative initiatives (particularly Biden, Dodd and Clinton) so they kept building on each other's ideas in a conversational (not sound bite) manner and if one of the candidates didn't fully explain something one of the others would pick it up and clarify.

I felt a little sorry for John - he was just slightly outside the circle of love.
