FAUX AND USATODAY HAVE BOTH LED WITH THE PROLIFE MARCH ON DC TODAY, SAYING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TURNED UP, THE STORY IS ON THEIR FRONT PAGE ON THE WEB.

I WONDER IF THEY WILL DO THE SAME FOR THE PROTEST ON THE 27TH.

1. I didn't know anything about this

until the reservation person at the Capitol Hill Suites mentioned it to me today when I was reserving a room for next weekend. She said there were thousands of people there -- I told her she "ain't seen nothing yet."

I'm very curious to see how the media handles next weekend's events. They didn't report much in Sept. 2005, but Hurricane Rita had gotten most of the press that weekend, if I remember right.

Funny I was at the march on DC last year and there were over 500,000 of us...no mention of us. Or what of the pro-choice rally in 04 that drew 1.4 million

3. Well, HUNDREDS of thousands showed up in Sep. 2005

and that barely made front pages anywhere (I think it was front page NYTimes and Wash Post, but that's all I'm aware of. I don't remember about USAToday. Maybe someone else does.)

8. There was about a half-column report

here in the Anchorage Daily News in September '05, which kind of surprised (and pleased) me since I was there, but the silence was deafening on the TV news. Hissyspit, are you going to be there this time?
