Too much preconceived hatred and anger here. I think we need a clean slate.

I kinda do wish they'd have another of those one-time-only opportunities to change your username. I dropped the ball the first time.

I'd probably end up with one of those freeper user names like "RushLover4ever". When it comes to luck, if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any at all.

6. Yeah, Mods, if you're listening,
I'd really like to change mine as well. I would like a day or two to think about it, though.

19. LOL sorry didn't see you there.... I should've done a search for that stuff before I posted it.
I hope no one has a 69 in their name or I'm going to have to change again! (You should've seen how fast I hit the "edit" button! It was some skillful mousework...)

16. Can someone please explain
why DU doesn't allow us to change our names on a regular basis? I know they did that one-time deal right after 2004 elections but why don't they allow us to change it whenever we want to? I mean, it's our profile and all.

Day they signed up, other account info. doesn't need to change..... On myspace, you can change your screen name all you want but all that other info. stays the same. They should give us that option.

To stop disruptor's, people can change their user profile just to be disruptive. With an unchanged name we can identify trolls and disruptor's.
