I need your input: to help my friend send pictures.

Is there some source online that gives step by step intructions on how to upload and send pictures via email? I haven't been able to find anything.

I have an Apple computer so I can't be of much help to her, I'm afraid.

1. You send the pictures as attachments to the e-mail. The pictures files must be on your computer.

There is a pull down menu with a file attach option when you are in the process of writing an e-mail.

You may have to zip (compress) the files if they are quuite large.

You can send attachments of pictures, (jpegs, tifs, gifs, etc.), word documents, cad drawings and so on.

edit: You can attach pictures to your e-mails when using your Mac! Good luck!

2. Yeah, no problem sending pics with my computer...

but she's on the other coast and is a bit of a technophobe.

3. Can she use the "help" option for her e-mail program?

I find the Windows and the Outlook express "help" to be easy to search and navigate.
