Blackwater license being pulled in Iraq

This ought to go over good.
But Blackwater is just ONE company. I have spoken before that I am acquainted with a mercenary.
He and his buddy opened a security company when he got back from Lebanon. Blackwater bought them out for six figures. It was TWO GUYS.
Seems they only wanted the name...and kept everything else the same. I don't believe this is an isolated instance.

BAGHDAD - The Iraqi government said Monday that it was pulling the license of an American security firm allegedly involved in the fatal shooting of civilians during an attack on a U.S. State Department motorcade in Baghdad.

The Interior Ministry said it would prosecute any foreign contractors found to have used excessive force in the Sunday shooting. It was latest accusation against the U.S.-contracted firms that operate with little or no supervision and are widely disliked by Iraqis who resent their speeding motorcades and forceful behavior.

Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul-Karim Khalaf said eight civilians were killed and 13 were wounded when security contractors believed to be working for Blackwater USA opened fire in a predominantly Sunni neighborhood of western Baghdad.

"We have canceled the license of Blackwater and prevented them from working all over Iraqi territory. We will also refer those involved to Iraqi judicial authorities," Khalaf said.

..it was ok if they were simply missing democracy benchmarks and were corrupt as hell (after all, we can't hold the Iraqi government to a higher standard than the US government). But to bite the hand of the war profiteers! Now that is unforgivable.

4. I have a question, How are they going to pull a licence they

never issued?,, and to top that off they can't prosecute a company that is under the Combined Forces Agreement
