Al Gore shows his funny side

Al Gore looked real happy as he and partner Joel Hyatt came backstage to talk up theirr win in the interactive TV category for cabler Current TV. First question lobbed at Gore was whether he, as a survivor of many controversies and media flaps, had any advice for Britney Spears, and did he plan to run in '08?

Gore didn't miss a beat, and got a big laugh with this quip: "I kinda figured the first question would be about Britney Spears."

1. O man.... I would of thought something along the lines of the
newest discovery of how the passage way from one of our frozen tundra areas just melted and opened up. Would you care to explain to the world about that?

2. My advice to Britney Spears:

Winston Churchill didn't start his memorable career until he was 60. So she has many decades to continue screwing up before she begins straightening up. Assuming she survives the excesses of her youth.

4. Winston Churchill made a comment about America I always think about when I hear his name
"America will always do the right thing, but only after it has tried everything else first."

3. Al is sharp!
That simple quip spoke volumes about what is 'news' to the
American people (in the eyes of MSM) these days.

6. I would have asked, "If Sally Field could be courageous...
...and face off against the right wing, why didn't you, Sir?"
