"Okay, he’s convinced me, President Bush does believe that the majority of U.S. citizens are stupid. He sends 30,000 additional troops into Iraq to fix his mess and then six months later announces he will withdraw 30,000 troops by next spring. What a guy. He’s as good with his numbers as he is with his pronunciation of words.

Actually I’ll miss him when he leaves office. Writing of his misadventures in my letters to the editor has been a catharsis as I have watched his administration screw up of our country. He’s a shoo-in as the worst president this country has ever experienced.

Now I’m just waiting for the flood of tell-all books from his cabinet members to hit the bookstands as soon as he walks through the White House door for the last time.

Want to place bets on who will be first, Colin Powell maybe? Bet Condi Rice has some thoughts to share about our nefarious VP Dick Cheney. There’s got to be a boatload of soon-to-be ex-Bushies sharpening their pencils.

Mark your calendar, 01.20.09. It’s the first day of the rest of our lives without George W. Bush as our supreme leader. I’m counting the days."
