You are a whole lotta days late and a trillion or two dollars short. The time to have spoken up was before you went to the UN and held up that vial.

4. $20 billion/year to pay for it

I saw Powel on 'meaty press' shortly pre occupation and the one item i recall was Powel letting loose the idea that Iraq's oil was gonna pay the bills- he specified '$20 billion US' I think it was, a year. And that sounded like alot, at the time. My visceral reaction was 'them slimy punks-they are staging a robbery in broad daylight, in the headlines' etc, but as anyone can see $20 billion/yr is actually chickenfeed. Our grandchildren will STILL be paying the INTEREST on the debts we have been saddled with! There was a theory floated on DU back then that Powel in fact despises the racist USA he play such a big part of; like Clarence Thomas he planned to use his authority to 'get even' with us, by abetting the worst our politics ever attempted! One thing for sure, he caused untold suffering among the least who deserve it by going along with Bush, and that must weigh on his conscience (had Powel stood up at the UN and denounced the bush/nazipooh plot to destroy Iraq and liberal america etc he'd have been a hero, probably a doomed one, but still....)

8. He's got a huge debt to pay to the American people but...

...this is behind the scenes warfare. It's "hugh" for him to take this line because most people still like him for some reason. It just shows how much you can get when you ask intelligent questions.

The OU kid wasn't a blow dried pro but he sure knew what to ask and how to follow up.

shilling for bush at the "ranch" when he was stealing the election. Standing next to bush at the "ranch" allowed bush to convey the message, 'See, I must have really won. Even Uncle Colin thinks I won.' Colin Powell is the biggest Tom in history.

He has done more to hamr the military and the American People than Benedict Arnold, who never got close enough to the kind of power Foul had, and thus could not do the deep and lasting damage that Foul did.
