Gore heads Emmy red carpet

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) -

'Six months after achieving Oscar glory for his climate change documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," former Vice President Al Gore is headed back to the red carpet for the Emmys, U.S. television's highest honors.

'Gore is expected to receive an "interactive television services" Emmy, a noncompetitive award, on Sunday for his fledgling cable network and online video venture Current TV, which he launched in August 2005.'

I can't remember and can't find it? If I ever knew, I don't now.

2. I've heard different dates

I'm not sure. It may differ state to state.

I know Massachusetts has a Dec. 21 deadline to have the required signatures to put him on their March 4 primary ballot:

California has a draft petition. It sounds like other states may too or will soon.

I hope he runs. I'm waiting for him.

9. It's too MTV-ish for my tastes..

I know it's aimed at the youngsters, but I find lots of it just silly..and not very newsy..We are in a state of crisis here, and some REAL news is kind of necessary about now. we need MORE serious stuff and less soundbytes set to music :)

I'm hoping to get a vibe from how he presents himself, at least. I read somewhere that he had lost a little weight - not that it matters to me, but many others feel that would be a sign.
