The Iraq War is Cold Blooded MURDER
Edited on Sat Feb-10-07 11:39 PM by BayCityProgressive
I just left an anti-war meeting here in MI. We watched several films about life in Iraq. One poor woman lost all 10 of her children because of US bombing.I am so angry about this war I don't even know how to describe it. This is MURDER we have MURDERED over 600,000 Iraqis. There is no way to sugar coat this or call it anything different, we have horribly mutilated and murdered thousands of Iraqis, destroyed their country and their families for profit and lies. Our soldiers lives are being wasted and they are also being murdered by the US government. The war was base don lies to make profits for the few. Report after report has confirmed this and Washington does nothing. The taxes you and I pay every single day are going towards murdering our own civilians and innocent people we have never even met. The Iraqi people will NEVER NEVER EVER forgive us for what we have done to them. While our war machine slaughters children and the elderly we eat McDonalds and watch American Idol. These people will never forget what we have done to them, NEVER.

don't you read the papers?

those 600K weren't murdered per se- they sacrificed their earthly lives(to God(the REAL God- the judeo-christian one)) at the altar of iraqi freedom.

5. But Sadly, They're in Hell Now
Because they did not accept Jesus as their savior before they died.

Sucks to be them.

6. THIS poster has the right attitude.
This is why Dems should NOT support a presidential candidate
who voted for the war, especially if they don't now call for
immediate withdrawl.

And yes, that means you, Hillary.

9. and it isn't just Iraq
Edited on Sat Feb-10-07 11:48 PM by BayCityProgressive
people all over the world don't hate us for no reason. We did the same in Korea, Vietnam, Panama, Grenada, Cuba, Haiti, Somalia, South Africa, Ethiopia, Phillipines, Mexico, the Native Americans the list goes ON AND ON AND ON AND ON. We have NEVER had a foreign policy concerned about anything but PROFIT. We have the peace corps, the non-profit groups and the churches to provide us with cover. They are the velvet glove on the bloody iron fist of imperialism that NEVER stops hunting for new victims to exploit and destroy. The velvet glove has grown thin and the iron fist is now explosed in Iraq and Afghanistan in it's full HORROR, for all to see.

7. Well, I hope you prepare yourself for another Bush war, this time in Iran.
The neocons are whispering into Bush's ear saying that taking down the Iran regime will make everything better in Iraq. The Israel Lobby in the US are working overtime to make this happen and the corporate media will go along selling the idea that Iran must be dealt with. Only Congress may prevent this from happening, but I doubt they will do anything about it, they don't even have the ballz to bring the Iraq war to a close. The only way to stop US aggression in the world will not come from the people unfortunately, but from the US empire imploding some time in the future, most likely from bankruptcy. The sooner the better.

8. Gee, I thought Barack Obama would make it all good.
He and all the other candidates (except Kucinich) say that the trick is to
resolve this crime in a manner that doesn't hurt American interests (like
getting caught). If we vote for ANY candidate in 08, we can put the past behind us and "focus on the future" while ensuring that the Iraqis stop mooching off us and learn to protect themselves -- or else we'll leave. That'll show them! I call it "stay and blame" -- i.e. "The Iraqis made us, they couldn't secure their oil fields, and even if Bush IS a criminal you can't just leave all that oil unprotected" strategy. Watch them all take that approach regardless of who wins the nomination. It is the only approach that appeals to American's sense of ethnic superiority and class entitlement. The poor can die if they don't learn to respect OUR industrial assets in THEIR communities. And if they have no assets? Out of sight, out of mind.

10. We had a special speaker
at the meeting from Africa. He is now a US citizen but travels and covers Africa extensively. He said that the US is incredibly hated in Africa for it's long history of releasing terror in their countries. China has been building relationships with the African countries and Hu Jintao recently toured Africa. In south Africa there is concern that Chinese goods are less expensive that South African goods just like here..but besides that concern Africa sees China as a benevolent power helping themd evelop their economies with no exploitation or threat of military action. The US is going to have it's hands full when they go to steal resources from Africa and are met by Chinese troops.

11. Sure the war is murder, but it just wasn't executed right!
No pun intended.

If only we had been more thoughtful in our murder, it would be okay.

Sarcasm intended.

12. K&R. Yes it was and is just cold blooded murder.
We must never forget it, and never relent on it until those responsible are held accountable and justice is served.
