White House Red-Faced Over Rove Immigration Remark
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove explained the Bush Administration's guest worker program and immigration policy at a luncheon Thursday by saying, "I don't want my 17-year-old son to have to pick tomatoes or make beds in Las Vegas."

The statement appeared on The Corner, National Review's blog, and has been gaining steam ever since.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Dana Perino told ABC News that the White House does not deny that Rove made the remark but claims it has been taken out of context.

Rove was speaking at a Republican women's luncheon and was talking about the President's immigration policy and the need for a system where willing workers get paired with willing employers, Perino said.

1. I Hope That Rove Is Reduced To Picking Up Trash
along the highways and washing the inmates sheets while he is serving his eventual prison sentence.

2. I HATE KKKarl Rove
Maybe a little bit of tomato picking or making beds at age 17 would prevent him from growing up to become a pig faced, lying, useless sack of shit like his father??

Nothing wrong with doing an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. Something the Republicans could never instill in their kids because they simply believe they're better than that.

Sickening bastard...

3. Even "out of context,"
"Rove was speaking at a Republican women's luncheon and was talking about the President's immigration policy and the need for a system where willing workers get paired with willing employers, Perino said."

The intended sentiment remains.....

Rove probably never picked a tomato or made a bed in his life. :eyes:

I will let everyone else deal with the total sleaziness of his remark.

by the way, I find it hugely ironic that this lying, hypocritical little scumbag's middle name is "christian". the universe must be having a good laugh at that one!!

(edited to add--just the thought of him actually married, or reproducing, is disgusting. visuals I DIDN'T need today!!)

5. Red faced at getting caught
for saying the remarks or at what was said? They are always more concerned with the former.
