pharma barons love fat unhealthy people - makes them more money

many doctors love fat unhealthy people - makes them more money

(note: I did not say 'all' doctors, but there is a genre of doctors that do)

fat is a money maker

1. Fat PHOBIA is the money maker
Call a spade a spade.

It keeps diet gurus and pushers of diet foods in their palaces and limos.

The hard truth is that 90% of people who achieve their ideal weight, whether through starvation, exercise and/or gastric surgery, will gain it all back plus more within five years.

When there's a cure for obesity, perhaps fat bigotry might be minimally acceptable. Right now, it is not. It's just bigotry.

3. I think you have given an...
...undeserved slap in the face to both the pharmacy and medical professions. Neither of them are the cause of the rampant obesity in this country they are just reacting to it.

4. I have NEVER EVER EVER
met a doctor who LOVED or WANTED to keep people fat. Doctors don't need fat people to make them money, and most of them will tell you that you need to lose weight if your too fat.

7. Something else that
is missing from obesity discussion is the role of hormone mimicing chemicals.
Also - fat is where many commercial chemicals we are exposed to are stored - to be released into the blood at times of weight loss, stress and heavy exertion.

The fat in meats that we eat are loaded with the chemicals that animal was exposed to as well - some of them hormone mimicing.
