I just find it ironic that the woman of so much scorn here is supporting this website.

11. Oops! I see that the ad is on the homepage and isn't a google ad..
It doesn't bother me. Skinner needs money to keep this site up and running and support baby Skinner!

15. I think anyone who spends any amount of time here
should, if able, donate at least $5 for the privilege. The OP also posted something recently he didn't have the facts on; I suggested a star would aid in his searching but...crickets.

3. Google ads?
Or something else?

Because google ads are totally random and get there because of key words--shit, we had Coulter ads up!

5. Rather than heaping derision upon us...
....for our "scorn" of Hillary Clinton, how about you tell us WHY we should vote for her? WHY we should be excited about her and support her candidacy? Tell us a reason to vote FOR her, not just against the other team...

8. Supporting?
I think she is "supporting" her candidacy.

I doubt she could care less about this website, or Democrats in general.

13. She' s not only scorned here, plenty support her.
Edited on Tue Jan-23-07 06:51 PM by porphyrian
And if she only listens to people telling her how great she is, she'll quickly be out of touch with the people she'll need to elect her. I think she's smart to spend her money here, and it may be the best thing she's done in my book.

14. I don't think it's fair to say we have scorn for her. I don't and I guess
I can only speak for myself. I admire her, I honor her intelligence and all the many gifts of charm, wit, elocution, delivery, presence, hard work, dedication, and above all a passion for helping the country - there is no end. However, I can't support anyone who supported the war for all these years and I haven't been happy about some of her votes and some lukewarm wording. I also think she is full on into the DLC.

My objection is purely political and I would hardly call that scorn. I prefer someone else. But, let just one imbecile start raising all the lies from the 90's and I will be defending her with an equal volume of screams.

I wish I could be as smart and accomplished. She is to be honored, not scorned.
