<snip>

"The Americans should proceed with their next acts thoughtfully and realistically, because, otherwise, Iraq's security situation will worsen, and cause Iran not to cooperate with them in this regard," foreign ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said, quoted by the semi-official Mehr news agency.

He was referring to the brief detention by US forces of a group of Iranians, including two diplomats, who were seized in blindfolds and handcuffs from their Baghdad hotel Tuesday night.

The US action came just hours after President George W. Bush labeled Iran the world's leading sponsor of state terrorism, and said he had ordered military chiefs in Iraq to confront Iran's "murderous activities."

1. That's alot to ask of this group of "americans" - thoughtfulness & realism?
They are in their own neo-con contrived bubble, sewing the seeds of destruction.
Congress needs to impeach these people - it's the only thing that's going to stop them!

7. Where have these Iranians been the past 6-plus years?
What makes them think that the Bushistas COULD proceed 'thoughtfully and realistically'?

10.  I think it's time to take this issue real serious
It does not seem to go away , each time it comes back the situation is even worse .

Many times what truely baffles me is with issues such as this people are talking about the year 2012 and beyond and the 2008 elections when everything is in such a fine balance where it could tip either way at anytime . What I wonder is , is all this debating and news just a distraction from the horror that awaits many of us

It's like we are trying to live in not one of two but many assumed realities and this won't work . This country seems to be in some state of denile .
