She's just a kid and, probably had a huge case of stage fright.

I recall being back in an American History class a zillion years ago and making an absolute fool of myself before the class in that I was over prepared for a presentation and 'wound up screeching it out at about 1,000,000 words per minute. It wasn't far into my spiel that the class laughter became louder than my own croaking voice. No one had understood a word I'd said and 'were rolling in the aisles upon hearing my gibberish...mortification - and I was just a year or so younger than her.
