Promote Radio Localism and Diversity

On October 12-19, the FCC will open a rare window for issuing full-power, noncommercial radio licenses. These licenses will only be available during this week to qualified community groups and nonprofits in certain geographical areas.

Currently, any noncommercial entity could apply for thousands of full power FM radio stations to monopolize radio stations across the country. The FCC is proposing that no entity can apply for more than 10 stations across the country during this window. Tell the FCC to create this cap to help promote local and diverse radio.
