2. Oh G-d no! Ted Olson...the psycho's attorney who pleaded the 2000 election theft case before the
SCOTUS! Congress wouldn't confirm that, would they????:( I don't think so. Ted Olson is no better than Gonzo. He was also a HUGE behind the scenes player in the Clinton Impeachment. I don't think Olson will be confirmed. JMCPO

3. Yes, I think he would be confirmed...
We've all got reason to detest Olson, but he is very qualified on paper and to some small degree of credit, left the solicitor's job when it was apparent he would have to defend the admin's indefensible positions on Gitmo, removal of habeus corpus, tribunals, etc.

Between him and the walking corpse, Chertoff, I guess I'd take Olson.

7. Ted Olson is in the firm frepresenting Jerry Lewis in the Cunningham case and USAttorney Yang is
there after gretting a huge million dollar 'signing' bonus. CORRUPT doesn't quite capture the aura around this guy.
