2. now that would turn some heads
I wonder what strategy would lead them to do that - other than them not having a choice for medical reasons.

3. HR 333
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_House_Resolution_333

Just the very start of proceedings would make Cheney want to resign.

DO IT NOW!

16. I think if we can get rid of Chaney that we would not have to
bother to impeach Bush. He would be all alone except for Rice. Maybe we need to go after her next. I think it would be just punishment for Bush to have to stand alone without his old cronies.

19. Cheney's face looks positively gaunt in that picture
It's scary to contemplate what those two are capable of when strssed to the breaking point. Atomic bombs rain down on Iran? Bush calls off the elections and declares himself President for Life? The only good thing about that scenario is that the military is quite pissed at him and may not obey orders. The bad thing is he may pay Blackwater to fight them, and since the military is largely overseas, with exhausted troops and weaponry, it may not be a fair fight.

22. Re the military: Worry about the Air Force. Too many fundies at the Academy for too long
and those generals who are so damned SURE the Islamic people are prayin up the wrong tree can get a war on from 45,000 feet and not have to deal with the results.

The Army, Navy brass had better have a tight hold on their brethren in the Air Force.

And I keep thinkin back to two old stories from early on in bush malAdministration and invasion:

From back in very early days of the junta there was a short lived mention of DOD trying to figure a way to deliver drugs to large, urban populations to calm people in the event of a need to go into hostile populations. Now, if they have such a thing, it either doesn't work, or they just aren't using it in Iraq. BUT, makes ya wonder just what other drugs they might have in large supply.

Then, shortly after the invasion of Iraq, there were those 'prayer cards' issued to troops asking them to pledge to pray for bush. Nice way to sort out who to call on when you REALLY need some troops to cover your ass, and/or do some real dirty work.

Now, we hear DOD wants to put microchips in the brains of troops to 'monitor their health'. When has DOD last shown ANY concern about their health? Don't tell be about tin foil - they are trying to get people to sit still for messin with soldiers' brains.

I keep hope by recalling the Soviet troops who would not fire into crowds of their mothers and grandmothers. Thinkin most US troops would be pretty much of the same mind, unless there were chemicals or impulses DOD had sway over involved.

I have never doubte so much of the National Guard was over there because Citizen Soldiers on home ground here would be a barrier to the junta.

But my biggest fear is the nut jobs in high places in the US Air Force. Those guys are troublesome to a democracy. They can do an awful lot of damage and get the rest of the military bogged down even further.

24. It's particularly dangerous now that posse comitatus has been
so eroded -- especially in the respect that DOD does much of the intelligence work now.

27. Yep. It worries me some that the Feds have spent a LOT of $$ on backroads in MT lately
Keep seeing/hearing things around here under the Big Sky that make me wonder what all Racicot did for the puppet masters in return for all the cushie gigs he has had since nearly bankrupting Montana building prisons when he was governor.

28. The day Stephanie posted that pic, it was mentioned that just about all bushco guys wore yellow ties
when out in front of cameras that day.

Reminded me of one of the twins and those garish green shoes in family pics at the WH on election night in 04 (after bush and Pickles returned via helicopter looking throughly beaten that evening.)

Signals?

21. I'm thinking kindasleazy
I believe she's had a nervous breakdown, from earlier in the year that is why the heat was taken off her all of a sudden. She deserves a nervous breakdown, she deserves anything that comes her way, then snarlin dicK will fall after her.
I'd like to see little jr.* standing all alone facing down the mean old dems, if he had the cajones he'd do us all a favor and....well use your imagination.
