They cut off their own debate so W could say the Democrat's "smears" against Gonzo were "Politically Motivated".

1. "It's unfortunate we live in times where a good and honorable man can be

forced out" or whatever. Poor albie had to endure TWO WHOLE MONTHS of questions and that was too much for him.

2. It was good to hear the president say that

how he could say that with a straight face is beyond me. His pronunciation of all those tough names, (roberts, gonzales, etc) was so careful and so slow, it was as though he was on drugs.
