WILD COMMENTS: No jail time for Ney's aide who pleaded guilty = Abramoff case
Check out the incredible rant someone posted on this page's Comments! WTF ????? is this all about?

No jail time for Ney's aide who pleaded guilty to conspiracy in Abramoff case.
http://www.citizensforethics.org/node/29937

Yes, Will Heaton did plead guilty. And, he wore a wire for the FBI to help build the case against his boss. Because of that, Heaton got no time in prison when he was sentenced today:

A former Capitol Hill aide received probation and a fine but no jail time Thursday after a federal judge credited him with helping convict a congressman in the Jack Abramoff scandal.

William Heaton let FBI agents record his telephone calls and taped a 2 1/2-hour meeting with Rep. Bob Ney, R-Ohio. He leaked documents and worked late into the night and on weekends to avoid arousing suspicion that he was working with the government.

Earmark quality likely to improve!
Submitted by Anonymous on 13 June 2007 - 4:54pm.

Last October the House Permanent Committee on Intelligence reported that Cunningham's "illicit" earmarks funded "illicit" contracts. They also noted that Cunningham's earmarks granted Brent Wilkes control of the evaluation process of a majority of the government's grants programs. Just two months before...last August the Associated Press learned Wilkes was being linked to Russia. This meant Wilkes was evaluating the merit of ideas presented to the grants programs according to a Kremlin agenda and hence, not showing impartiality.

I did not know about the earmarking process, but I did know that beginning in 2002 my company was being denied RnD grants while in 2003-2007 many complimentary things appeared in the press from US DHS and Congressional mouths referring to my company's technological invention. In contrast, information collected on our activities by US intelligence agencies was abused and our CEO kept retreating to new democracies to evade sabotage. He was stalked and each new endeavor was taken down. Our latest RnD operation to be taken down was in France on March 1 which also is the day we were dethroned from our # 1 position as the drivers' license standard by the US DHS Office of General Counsel.

Beginning in 12/01 the Russian federal government began offering my company a 100 % financing package. We knew the Kremlin wanted to abuse our platform to harm Americans and everyone else residing within a democracy, so while the offer continued to be sweetened and later 2 buyout offers were made, we declined the offers and Wilkes continued to have our applications for grants turned-down at gate/phase 1 of the grants programs. Accomplices in Congress drew-up legislation that fixed federal law to inferior standards such as the biometric smart card.

Only when I began to link the sabotage of our U.S. and overseas operations to various corruption probes just over 1 1/2 years ago (Abramoff first) including the Cunningham probe did I learn of the earmarking process.

We now are up for a Schumer earmark. The same process that over and over again was abused for the Kremlin's benefit to take down many RnD operations, might become the process that finally enables Americans to have access to our platform. In business it isn't just about making money, but about making it in a socially responsible fashion so that you can sleep each night the rest of your life with a clean conscience. To date, the CEO's and my loyalty to the US and democracy enabled many people in government favoring (committing official acts for) Russia to stab us in the back, but the Schumer earmark might just be what redeems the U.S. federal government so it no longer is rated as our # 1 enemy!

This is just the story of what NIST calls "smart wallet" in its Biometrics and Security Systems and Applications program. I am aware there are other hi-tech companies that have the very same story we have! Using or should I say abusing the earmarking process enabled Russia to take control of our grants programs with Brent Wilkes as its agent. Every technological idea of merit was denied funding in the programs Wilkes controlled so that Russia could lure these companies within its borders and control them. If they declined the Russian offers then Wilkes and Dustin Foggo made sure they outright went out of business. Our grants programs were funded and did pay-out...to have crut developed! Our taxpayer dollars were wasted developing crut while deporting Americans' best ideas to Russia!

I more than anything want to point out that the corruption scandals have taught the companies that have good ideas that were denied funding in grants programs because Wilkes was working for Russia, that they should tap the earmarking system. For 2008, the quality of earmarks as a whole ought to be going up!

6. Man, I would LOVE to know who his/her company is!
<snip>My company's sabotage has been investigated for three years and by 11/05 the company was being linked to the Abramoff and Cunningham corruption probes as a victim. Former Congressman Ney inserted false and misleading statements into the official congressional record about my company's platform to benefit the agendas of Abramoff's Russian clients during a time when the Russian federal government--overrun by organized crime at its highest ranks, was offering my company a 100+ % financing package. Will Heaton did not insert the false and misleading statements to benefit Russia's agenda to control my company's platform! Former Congressman Ney supported legislation to have my company's platform banned from federal procurement. Will Heaton didn't cast those votes. I believe in assigning blame where blame is due. With regard to Congressman Ney...Will Heaton was just along for the ride!

I shared with the company's CEO (my biz partner) Judge Huvelle's decision and he agrees as do I that justice has been served by giving Heaton probation. The 50 hours of community service each year will do him good. We realize Will Heaton benefitted with some very nice trips and other gifts, but could you imagine what would have happened had he refused to go on those trips and to sporting events with Ney? He would have lost his position as Ney's Chief of Staff, and US DOJ would have lost their witness with a conscience who later became US DOJ's perfect mole because he knew so well what bribes earned Ney's votes on which legislation! Heaton would have been all washed-up on Capitol Hill because he had refused to "go with the flow." Heaton's replacement might have been another David Safavian--obstructing justice and lying to federal investigators.

With some staffers it appears US DOJ had to figuratively-speaking put a noose around their neck and squeeze them to persuade them to cooperate. 3 years is already a very long time for us to have waited to find justice, and a lot has happened in 3 years since we refused to shut our doors:

In 11/04 I determined that members of Congress indeed had been bought-off by the Kremlin/Russian mob as its by then executed representative had claimed, and were trying to force our failure if we continued to fight congress' unwrit extradition to Russia. I had found a German financing package that was fully negotiated 15 months before by the CEO and he went to Germany to accept it and make our company internationally headquartered in Germany in breach of the Buy American laws established by Congress for the US DHS. Days later Tom Ridge resigned with the first explanation given by General Hayden to Fox News: because Ridge failed to fund the next-generation of technologies. The explanation Hayden gave to Fox News 2-3 weeks later that he had failed to dedicate staff to medium and long-term planning also pertained to us since Ridge intended to create a national civilian DNA database and our platform excludes such privacy-invading measures.<snip>

Congressman Ney made false and misleading statements in the official congressional record regarding what NIST calls smart wallet in its Biometrics and Security Systems and Applications program. The reference was made as "the wallet" and the inventor and sole supplier of it is Colorado-based Immtec, Inc. In the plea deal and write-ups references were made regarding Ney's gifts accepted from Russian energy and biz execs. Immtec was part of what Ney committed official acts against in exchange for the Russian gifts. I am founder of the US and Canadian government launches and work covertly so am not at Immtec's website. (Too many home invasions!) ......

Brian Kennedy's public statements to describe CREW and Melanie Sloan were utterly classless and don't extinguish the fact his boss leaked classified information for political purposes!

Every American needs to understand the ramifications of all this! I am head of government operations for Immtec, Inc. which is inventor of the smart wallet in NIST's Biometrics and Security Systems and Applications program. Solely our biometric credential wasn't tried in federal identification credentialing programs, despite ours was ready for deployment 2 years before the biometric smart card.

Beginning in 2002 I became aware my calls were being eavesdropped on. ........

8. I wonder if Jerry Lewis will be announcing his decision not to run for reelection???
At the end of 7/06 the S. African investor sent the second installment that went mostly toward paying backdue bills. The illicit secret CIA contract had been renewed! On hindsight I discovered the benefitting parties were Lockheed Martin and Latham & Watkins. The French managers resumed their plight to run the French operation into the ground, as well as resumed stealing source code and digital wallets for the new secret CIA contract beneficiaries! It is unknown who in Congress had the contract renewed. Best guess: Jerry Lewis.

9. Interesting stuff, but take it with a grain of salt.
This is an anonymous person posting comments on an internet blog. We know nothing about the veracity of what he's saying.

If there's anything to this, what exactly is this person trying to achieve by posting unverifiable information? It would help if he'd name names and companies, but as it is right now these could easily be the ramblings of a schizophrenic or a bullshit artist. Or they could be the truth, or at least close to it. There's no way to tell.

The debate over who controls the records of who is visiting the VP became more heated after it was reported a Russian vodka company sponsored a party at the VP's residence last year (and Cheney did what for that Russian company?), and after it became known (reported by San Diego writers) that Cunningham's coconspirator # 1, Brent Wilkes and conspirator # 2, Mitchell Wade have links to Cheney dating back to the early nineties.

The visitor log scandal also became a bigger deal after it was made public either Wilkes/Wade (forget which of the 2--they're equally dirty!) supplied the VP's office with office equipment and computers around July of 2002 and that the Government Reform Committee is investigating that contract. It is of particular interest because its dollar amount was the exact same cost as the Dukester yacht bought by Wade/Wilkes for Cunningham the following month.

Finally, the Administration began digging in its heels even harder re the visitor logs very recently after it became rumored (think I found this article at Huffington Post's webite) Cheney was a customer of Pamela Martin and Associates ......
