Hand Counted Paper Ballots NOW! or Fascism/Corporatism Forever. Impeach Now Too!
The people need TRANSPARENT ELECTIONS not run by private evoting corporations. The people also need rule of law.

It is way beyond time. See you on the barricades.

1. We need vote by mail.
We need Universal vote by mail with paper ballots counted by civil servants with civil servants registering voters and keeping track of registrations. That will put the GOP out of the election rigging business.

4. We, the people have the basis for all that-it's our Constitution and our Bill of Rights
that have been papered over. This has happened before, and now it's happened here.

The rallying point is our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. There has been a coup, the correction is coming. Conflict will occur between those of us that recognize our Constitution and Bill of Rights and those that are loyal to what their Decider and all the unConstitutional legalisms stand for-which is some kind of fascism.

There isn't any time left for inaction, all power to the people, like our Constitution says-not HOMELAND (tm) decrees and other forms of treason as defined in our Constitution Article III Section 3.

This is it-IMPEACH CHENEY FIRST to minimize the conflict, repeal all those papers that have been "passed" since January 21, 2001 because I, for one, don't recognize them, I refuse to acknowledge them or any of the new offices and departments set up by these criminals and traitors and their mercenary employees.

This administration staged a revolution against The United States of America, they are clearly a domestic enemy. The correction is coming. We, the people are The United States of America not HOMELAND (tm). We decided on that centuries ago.

9-11 didn't change everything and the disaster of Iraq in the context of a war on terror based on lies to us, by an administration that tortures, spies on the people for political reasons, doesn't recognize habeas corpus or Article IV and arbitrarily makes policy for the highest bidder while we, the people are harmed as a direct result of those criminal policies that benefit interconnected private entities that have robbed us-well the time for correction of these grievances has arrived.

IMPEACH CHENEY FIRST and indict the criminals-NOW.

8. Yes, "clearly a domestic enemy"
We on the left need to stop psychoanalyzing these thugs and pretending their empty rhetoric is rational.

They need to be moved away from the sharp objects (and nuclear button) to stop ongoing damage to our once-great nation.

10. Kucinich is trying...
He's reintroduced HR-1381, the Count Every Vote Act of 2007 which, among other provisions, mandates the following:

SEC. 102. REQUIREMENT FOR MANDATORY MANUAL AUDITS.

`Subtitle C-- Mandatory Manual Audits by Chief Auditors

`SEC. 321. MANUAL AUDITS BY STATE OFFICIALS.

`SEC. 322. NUMBER OF BALLOTS COUNTED UNDER AUDIT.

`SEC. 323. SELECTION OF PRECINCTS.

`SEC. 324. PROCEDURE FOR CONDUCTING AUDITS.

`SEC. 325. PUBLICATION OF RESULTS.

`SEC. 326. PAYMENTS TO STATES.

`SEC. 327. EFFECTIVE DATE.

SEC. 301. EQUITABLE ALLOCATION OF VOTING SYSTEMS, POLL WORKERS, AND ELECTION RESOURCES.

`SEC. 331. MINIMUM REQUIRED VOTING SYSTEMS AND POLL WORKERS.

Full bill here: http://tinyurl.com/2ocwmq

And another: HR-811, the Voter Confidence and Increased Accessibility Act of 2007, which is similar to the above bill and provides for:

SEC. 4. REQUIREMENT FOR MANDATORY MANUAL AUDITS BY HAND COUNT.

`SEC. 321. REQUIRING AUDITS OF RESULTS OF ELECTIONS.

`SEC. 322. NUMBER OF BALLOTS COUNTED UNDER AUDIT.

`SEC. 323. PROCESS FOR ADMINISTERING AUDITS.

`SEC. 324. SELECTION OF PRECINCTS.

`SEC. 325. PUBLICATION OF RESULTS.

`SEC. 326. PAYMENTS TO STATES.

`SEC. 327. EXCEPTION FOR ELECTIONS SUBJECT TO RECOUNT UNDER STATE LAW PRIOR TO CERTIFICATION.

Full bill here: http://tinyurl.com/2orj4a

Much more on sponsored bills, general info and position statements that I would think are favorable to many at DU here:

14. Look what we've got
The only reason we have an out of control government is that they stole the power through the e-vote.

Kerry was elected in 2004 and bushco flat out stole 2000. If people don't get off their asses and stop the e-vote, 2008 will find us going down in flames.

The only way to get our government under control is by we the people counting the vote and NOT letting some private company do that work.

16. NOPE
Shoot, the dems passed the bill allowing the secret counting. They spent billions of our tax dollars to outsource the elections to private companies.

And just a few of them will even mention the theft of 2000 and 2004.

We are on our own. Either we take back the counting into our own hands or we can kiss it all goodbye. I think we're gonna be kissing.
