1. Never happen ...
She's being upstaged enough by Bill and doesn't need anyone on her ticket who can give better speeches. Same problem that Kerry had with Edwards -- he took him on but under-used him out of vanity.

2. I don't think Hillary has to worry about anyone upstaging her.,..
Personally, I think a bold ticket like this would be a winner...goes against conventional wisdom, much like Bill picking Al, but there is alot of upside to it...

5. McGovern on Hillary, War

From a year-old Newsweek interview (boldface -- except the question -- is mine)...

How do you think Hillary Clinton is handling her position on the war?

I don’t like it. I can’t ever forget how she and Bill came to Texas in 1972 to work on my campaign. I have lasting personal affection for her. I’d like to see her a little more gutsy. What she’s doing has strengthened her position in upstate New York. But I’d like to see Hillary proud of being a Democrat and not running away from liberalism. You have to pay a price for being courageous in this climate. What worries me about American politics is not that people want to be in the middle of the road, but that the right wing has pulled the whole process to the right so that it gets pretty lonely in the middle.

9. I think I will go with McGovern's heart
He is a wonderful man with a huge heart who obviously feels a debt of gratitude when it comes to the Clintons.
