GM suicidal robot - Thats how they treat their employees

I emailed GM regarding to their SB advertisement and I hope this is something that'll raise their eyebrow.

I am emailing in response to your Superbowl advertisement. I simply want to say that advertisement is a mirror image of GM's poor ethic practices towards its workers. I have several family generations that have and still work for GM and they're worried about losing their jobs, not because of a dropped screw, but because your administration cannot seem to run its business. GM treats its workers poorly and it’s a slap across the face of every American who has worked hard for your company and for every soldier who died to keep this country free. I am ashamed by your marketing ethics and I see it as a disgrace to America and violates the 50 stars and 13 stripes that represent our great country. “This is our country,” yeah for every American who doesn’t work for GM and for every American who does, like my family, I only pray they receive better treatment by GM or I hope they all work for Ford or Dodge just to see GM go out of business. I would love to see the CEO and all of the administration go broke and see what it’s really like to lose their job and look for help wanted signs.

I sincerely hope I receive a call regarding this email. This issue is too important to ignore because I will continue to protest against GM until the matter is resolved. Thank You.

2. Thanks For The Link. Great Article, And Made Me Aware That I TOTALLY Mispoke The Other Night.
In one thread I had said I thought the commercial was funny and extremely creative, but it now occurs to me that I obviously missed the first half of it. I never saw the robot drop a screw, get fired, or anything. My entire perception of what the commercial was saying was off.

I still think it was definitely creative and thinking outside the box, but after reading that article and now being aware to the entire context of the commercial it most definitely is a bit creepy and warped. No doubt insensitive to GM employees also.

So I officially rescind my comments towards this commercial from the other night.

5. why did it take so long for this ad to draw attention?
I found this to be very disturbing. Then they go and actually lay off a bunch of people. Was this ad supposed to give the laid-off some idea?

Much sicker than snickers
