2. something that he never "gets"....
....is that the pomp and circumstance surrounding his movements are not due HIM specifically -- they belong to the office of the presidency and are the possession of the American people. The salutes, the flags, the bands, the parties, the ceremonies, the luxuries, the security protections, the protocol, the red carpets.....he does not enjoy those through any personal merit, or even through any award.

He stole those things. He is a grifter, a cheat, a thief, a poseur, and a fraud.

But he doesn't get it. That's what fried me every time I see him feeling important.
