I suppose you could say, "It's the pictures, stupid."

The point he makes, and it's unintended I'm sure, is that they don't have to say anything, just make it look great - that Deaver 'invented' the photo-op.

Yeah, he first figured out that a backdrop was important. Look at the merciless, ruthless, toasting of Gore b/c they claimed that he 'invented' the Internet. Here, we know the story, but the media would not let it go. Of course, Joey S. isn't gong to contradict anything miraculous in reference to St. Ronnie.

Now they're politely making fun of Deaver for shopping for BMW's in Durope...but that's OK, since Condi shopped for Ferragamo's.

Shit, I hate this bunch.

PS: of course, a reference to the "beautiful" Reagan funeral as planned by Deaver, by Joey.

1. Yeah, noticed that. You know, we could have some solace in all of this

if the dem leadership would get some balls. They could win enough in the 2008 elections to get a good hard control of the senate and house if they would show the public they could lead and they could be honest and not corrupt and they could get us out of this war in as good a way as possible. They could show us and everyone they can stand up to this president, the media and the hateful right wing pundits.

But until they do this, they are losers or going to be losers.
