The only person we encountered on the march route who expressed disapproval was this guy. He was stopped at a light as we were marching across the street and he actually got out of his car and walked over to the Gold Star Dads and held up both of his middle fingers at them. He was also shouting something but I couldn't make out what he was saying. The cops were there helping us cross the street and within seconds they came over and told this guy to get back in his car. I am still amazed that he actually got out of his car to yell at a group of 500 marchers.

Never did a slogan scare the bejeebers out of the war profiteers as that one did! It still applies.

But for godssakes, we have GOT to get the antiwar marchers together with the election reformers, and get some signs into these marches that say, "HAND-COUNTED PAPER BALLOTS!" and "THROW DIEBOLD/ES&S ELECTION THEFT MACHINES INTO 'BOSTON HARBOR'!"

They've stolen our right to vote with these rigged machines. That's the heart of the whole problem. SEVENTY PERCENT of the American people oppose this war, and want it ended, and we all vote, and somehow we end up with a Congress that ESCALATES the war and gives Bush, Cheney and Gonzo MORE spying powers. Do the math! It's the voting machines!
