He's on from noon to three pm, eastern time. That's nine to noon here on the West Coast. He always has me on at 10 am, my time (pacific time).

But since he's filling in for ED SHULTZ, he'll be on whenever Ed's on. Here in L.A., KTLK (1150am) delays the show til 7pm, unless it's preempted by sports. So if it's on tomorrow here (L.A.), I think that means I'd be on, here, during the 8pm hour.

Congress. He would have been great, and who says he can't run again, especially having expanded his profile even more, and with republi-CONS in general on the ropes and no longer able to pass the smell test.

He's charming to work with, very supportive and generous, and highly informed. Really smart and quick-witted. He's a wonderful host and steers the conversation expertly and seamlessly. I have been thoroughly enjoying working with him, which I've been doing every Monday for a couple of months now. He even made up this drop-in sound effect of a lion's roar to introduce me! I tell ya, it's a high like no other. I feel like I've been shot through with 200,000 volts, with sparks flying out of my hair.

I remember the first local talk show I did, live, late one Sunday night/Monday morning on the rock station where I worked on the weekends. It was like working on the proverbial highrise without a net, and my relief who was supposed to come in for the next shift at 2am called in sick, so I had to stay on the air - my in-studio guest graciously agreeing to stick around for awhile and take calls. He finally gave out at about 4am, but we still had an hour-and-a-half to go, so it was just li'l ol' me and the phone lines. I wound up pulling an all-nighter. I was so high by the end of it that at 6am I went FLYING down the freeway toward home, feeling like I was on fire. That was One. Fine. Night. Even sleep-deprived, I couldn't calm down (and certainly didn't want to) until mid-afternoon.

WHEW!!! Whotta rush! I think if everybody could do a live talk show and we could harness that energy, we could relieve ourselves of the oil crisis.
