There was a fascinating peek into the mind of a radical on “Hardball” yesterday, when Chris Matthews asked Melanie Morgan — unhinged, even by contemporary far-right standards — to respond to how right Dick Cheney was about Iraq before he became Vice President. C&L has an excerpt, which is worth watching, if for no other reason because Morgan helped highlight a twisted worldview for a national television audience.

After Matthews asked Morgan to explain why 1994 Cheney was right while 2002 Cheney was wrong, Morgan refused to engage and suggested Iraq was somehow involved with 9/11. She also attacked Matthews for bringing up the subject.

Matthews then asked Naomi Wolf to weigh in.

Wolf: It gets back to what I was saying earlier about the nature of lying. Let’s not forget that they got us into this war on the basis of a series of lies…. This weaving out of lies was a pretext for an invasion that served their own political purposes. In the wake of the invasion, they were able to terrify the American people, subjugate the American people, drive through a series of laws that dismantled key checks and balances, allowed overreaching executive power, and completely eviscerated what the founders set in place, thus weakening America.

Morgan: Keep attacking, keep attacking Naomi, because you’re going to look great in a burka. You’re going to look super in a burka.

Perfect. Wolf makes a substantive point about American laws, institutions, and traditions, so Morgan insists Wolf’s criticism will lead to radical Muslims seizing control of the United States, forcing women into burkas. This, in effect, encapsulates the left-right foreign policy debate of the last eight months.

they are called caftans, and can be made in a variety of styles. Just because the burqa has been denigrated because of its use as a tool suppression doesn't mean the idea of covering up more in the summer is wrong. Actually, it makes sense, health wise. And you can feel cooler in a caftan than in shorts and a tee shirt.

made of a sheet.. with the bottom corners sewn together, i hung out with the moors, they didn't think much of the Arabs.. the arabs sold their children in the slave markets

i had a pair of Mohamed pants.. they were a garment sorta like pants, a wide horizontal rectangle like 3 times or more longer than high, just above the knees or higher

they had a drawstring around the top like a bag,and closed on he bottom closed except tight fitting holes on the bottom corner.. one puts their legs through the holes and bunch up the middle around your crotch.. quite cool.

my Moor friend said they called them Mohamed Pants because before the prophet died he said the next prophet would be born of a Man. the men didn't know exactly how it would work.. so they make the pants to catch the new born prophet and keep him off the shit and piss encrusted dirt.

40. Want max coverage in sunlight because of health. Layered so that I can take off

some layers at night outdoors and maybe more layers indoors so that i can be comfortable in summer wn 80 degee plus indoor temps (save on electricity for ac. It has been over 100 degrees where i live for over a week . My auto air doesn't work and the sun-even with sunscreen is damaging my skin.

I know far too many people who have lost the skin cancer battle---even with usage of sunscreens.
