BRAKING GNUS! Romney wins Illinois straws
Ok, ok, he won the Illinois Straw Poll.
of all votes cast, he got a total of

373.
If I spell it out it looks bigger. So, THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY THREE TOTAL VOTES.

And his campaign is reduced to claiming that this is another major victory.

I have heard of grasping for straws, but this is grasping on a whole new level.

3. yup.
Metro section of the Chicago Tribune (For GOP fair poll not much to crow about)
in the words of Andy McKenna, " We just wanted to do something poeple were interested in."

yeah, like 900 of them. Romney reportedly spend a high 6 figures on this event.

The same article talked about a secret poll among the GOP county chairs, where Mitt the Git came in a lame 3d with 18% and fred and Ruddy getting 73%, but the real message is that unless Nancy and Harry don't stop screwing up, this election is ours for the taking.
