I Betcha Neither Scooter Nor Shooter Testify
I was skeptical about their claims that they were going to call Cheney to the witness stand.

Given what's taken place, and the fact it appears Libby is the designated "fall guy," I think the powers that be will make sure Libby doesn't bring Dick into this any further, and just takes his lumps that are coming to him.

Is this going to be the end then? A conviction for Libby, and nobody else? What a huge letdown. I was hoping for so much more than a lone scapegoat.

2. He will be convicted....
and then he will be pardoned in January 2009 right before Shrub leaves office.

5. Cheney says Americans who oppose Iraq War "don't have the stomach" to see it through.
In other words, he thinks we're all a bunch of yellow-bellied cowards because we're trying to bring our troops home instead of allowing them to be maimed and murdered in bush's war.

take the stand Libby is 50-50 chance he will take the stand if he is smart he wont but I think he is getting his back up against the wall and may not have a choice.Cheney has to much to lose if he does he can't afford to he will either lie or sell Scooter down the river.

8. IMHO Libby will not testify .....
At least now he knows the damage that the Government's case has done, and his lawyer can argue presumption of innocence and reasonable doubt, and the jury will wonder what Libby might have said.

If Libby testifies, the jury will see his demeanor, Fitz will hit him with questions he has not thought about, and it could get a lot worse. Plus Appeals Courts are reluctant to overturn jury decisions where they had the opportunity to see the defendant testify and found him guilty.

Don't think he will take the stand.

9. Calling Cheney To Testify Now Would Be Another Nail in Libby's Coffin...
Cheney would have to either contradict Libby's 'lost memory' defense, or he would have to suffer from the same malady. Both bad for Libby.

10. Then Fitz takes the materials
and hands them over to Conyers and Waxman when they start the investigations on B&J being blown by the White House.
