Well, it turns out that Ghouliani did make cameo appearances here or there in the months following 9-11, in the manner of walking tours for visitors officials, foreign dignitaries and celebrities: 41 appearances for 29 hours total (avg. 42 minutes per visit)-
this time includes meetings away from the site!
Well, a man that could lie to his wife and kids, has no problem deceiving the American public about his so-called heroism. (That's the retort to Rudy next time he says to "Leave my family alone!")

But an exhaustively detailed account from his mayoral archive, revised after the events to account for last-minute changes on scheduled stops, does exist for the period of Sept. 17 to Dec. 16, 2001. It shows he was there for a total of 29 hours in those three months, often for short periods or to visit locations adjacent to the rubble. In that same period, many rescue and recovery workers put in daily 12-hour shifts.
